Meet Freefly's heavy-lift flagship drone platform, Alta X. Engineered to tackle your most demanding cinema and industrial projects. Designed from the ground up, the Alta X leverages large, efficient propellers to deliver exceptional control and precision, hallmarks of the renowned Alta line.
Its innovative folding design allows the Alta X to collapse to half its size with a simple push, ensuring easy transport without compromising on performance.
The Alta X's robust construction supports impressive payload capacities, enabling up to 50-minute flights without payload, and 30-minute flights with an 11-pound payload such as the GeoCue LiDAR system.
Its adaptable quick-release system on both the top and bottom of the aircraft allows for seamless integration of various payloads, including LiDAR sensors, mapping cameras, and professional cinema gear.

- With Cargo Landing Gear use Short Quick Release Mount and optional Cargo Tray Kit
- With Skid Landing Gear, use 12mm Rails or Short Quick Release Mount
