Trimble Access cloud security update - Action required before August 31st 2021

Trimble® Access™ 2021.10 includes a critical update for customers who sign in with their Trimble Identity.

Customers with Trimble Access version 2018.x to current, who sign in with their Trimble Identity in order to transfer data through the Connect cloud or use Trimble Access subscriptions have to upgrade Trimble Access to the latest version, 2021.10 in order to continue operation after August 31st 2021.

Why is this important?

Trimble Identity (TID) is a common login method used across many Trimble products and services. Trimble Access leverages TID to enable integrated cloud data transfer and to deliver the Trimble Access subscription where applicable. In order to ensure continued secure cloud connection for Trimble Access, TID needs to be updated to the latest security standards.

Trimble Access customers can continue to use their installed version of Trimble Access, but will not be able to use Trimble Access cloud transfer capabilities or Trimble Access subscriptions without taking action.

Trimble aims to keep our customers data and personal information secure. In a connected world, customers should stay on the most recent Trimble Access release to avoid potential loss of cloud services

All customers using Trimble Access cloud data workflows are entitled to upgrade to the latest release of Trimble Access as part of their paid Trimble Protection Plan.

All customers with a valid Trimble Access subscription license are entitled to upgrade to the latest release of Trimble Access.

* Note: Customers using Trimble cloud, who have dependencies on Trimble Access apps that are not currently compatible with the latest TA version can remain on the current version. As an alternative to upgrade, Trimble ConnectSync can be used for cloud transfer on Windows10 devices.
