TrueView 720 is Geocue’s fourth generation RIEGL integration. This is the system for high point density corridor mapping. Using the RIEGL VUX-120 with 3 lidar scanners (oriented nadir and +10 degrees forward and -10 degrees backward) and 3 oblique/nadir cameras for extremely detailed data collection in one flight path. When scanning power lines, users will be able to capture the poles vertically, front and back. The system can be integrated with drones, airplanes, or helicopters. Geode Backpack Strap Clamp. Attaching to any standard backpack strap, the Geode Shoulder Mount to a backpack strap is an excellent way to collect hands-free data. Shoulder-mounted Geode tests indicate negligible accuracy degradation when shoulder mounted.

Requires 1/4-20 Adapter for Geode Attachment (27584) to a attach Geode to backpack.

An external magnetic antenna can attach directly to the Geode via 10′ (3.05 meter) cable. Data will be collected wherever the cable is placed. The image shows a nice hands-free carrying method for the Geode with the cabled antenna placed on shoulder strap of a backpack with double-sided Velcro. The antenna cable is connected with a Geode and placed in a backpack while paired via Bluetooth® with the mobile device for data collection.

The handheld tray accessory allows users to attach the Geode to a CP3 Rugged Smartphone to have the components work as one integrated solution. This accessory is sold separately from the Geode.
